Short scene

Chris was very destracted while trying to get the fire started he was thinking about the good old days when all he had to worry about was girls, friends, teachers/classes, and the ocasional problem at work. That was life in high school though. Ouch! he had just burned his finger with the match while holding it under the kindling bringing him out of his reflections. His friend Terrance laughed at him from across the camp firse. Shut up chris said angrily as he tossed a small twig at Terrance. Sorry it was funny he said back. Chris stood up when the fire was all the way going do you think we will be back tomarrow in time for the game Terrance said. I dont know was all chris said. well what are we going to do till then anyway. we could go fishing or swimming i guess chris said. Terrance sighed I have no idea how you talked me into this it's going to be so boring. Only if you make it boring Chris replied with a big grin on his face, and besides the lake isnt even a 5 minute walk from here. Alright fine lets go fishing terrance said with mock enthusiasm in his voice. So they both got up and grabed the fishing polls from the side of the tents they put up earlier.
When they got to the lake they got all of there fishing gear our and set it next to them. Then after about an hour of just light conversation and only a few nibbles on there fishing lines, they decided it was time to go swimming. they both put on there swim suits and jumped into the water from a rock sticking out from the rest of the shore line. Ahhhhh that is SO cold Chris shouted as his head came out of the water Terrance agred with a second shout of exiliration and pain from the cold. lets swim around the lake Chris said as he started around the lake. after about an hour of swimming they started up the shore to warm up and dry off. Whats that exclamed Terrance. Chris looked up and saw a cliff about 5 feet high and about 2 feet wide. I dont know lets go check it out. As they picked there way around the sharp rocks they looked up and saw a small light coming from the cave they both froze in there tracks. should we still go see whispered Terrance. Chris took a secongd to think about it then said yeah lets go check it out.
